Having Kayte as a mentor was one of the most formative experiences of my professional journey. She has a remarkable ability to support your growth not by giving answers, but by asking the right questions—supporting you to reach your own conclusions with confidence and clarity. Her approach is grounded in kindness, approachability, and an unwavering sense of calm, creating an environment where learning feels safe and empowering.

 

Kayte challenged me to think differently, to broaden my clinical reasoning, and to view situations from new perspectives. I can genuinely say that without her guidance, I would not be the Occupational Therapist that I am today. Her mentorship shaped not only my clinical practice, but also the way I approach problem-solving, reflection, and professional development.
